FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S 2: BACK TO 1987
In FNAF 2, you take on the role of a new night security guard, replacing someone who suddenly quit after strange incidents. What sounds like a simple overnight job quickly becomes a survival challenge as the animatronic mascots start moving on their own after dark.
This time, the roster is bigger and more unpredictable. Classic characters like Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy return in new forms.
They’re joined by updated “Toy” versions, along with unsettling additions like Mangle, Balloon Boy, and the mysterious The Puppet (also known as Marionette).
Each animatronic behaves differently. Some approach through vents. Others appear directly in your office. A few ignore certain defenses entirely. One strategy won’t work for everyone, you will need to adapt constantly.
No Doors This Time
Unlike the first game, protective doors are gone. Survival now depends on managing a small set of tools:
- Security Cameras - Track where animatronics are moving.
- Flashlight - Check dark hallways and slow down threats like Foxy.
- Freddy Fazbear Mask - Quickly put it on to trick most animatronics into leaving.
- Music Box (Cam 11) - Keep it wound up to prevent the Puppet from attacking.
Control and Basic Action
- Use your mouse to switch cameras and interact.
- Press and hold Space (or Ctrl, depending on version) to use the flashlight.
- Click the mask button immediately when an animatronic enters your office.
- Fast reactions matter. Hesitating even a second can cost you the night.
